Intermediate Counselor Information

Overview

The Mission of the counseling program at Flour Bluff ISD is to provide support to each individual student. We believe that all children have the capacity to resolve their own problems and make their own decisions, with the professional assistance of a counselor serving as a facilitator. As school counselors, our aim is to enhance each child’s character, helping them develop positive strengths and learn life-long lessons that foster personal growth in a global society as they navigate the 21st century. Our support system addresses students through guidance in academic, career, social, and professional issues, challenging them to reach their full potential. With these goals in mind, counselors collaborate with educators, parents, and the community to ensure that all students are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to become responsible and productive citizens upon graduation.
